No More PDP in Kogi, Says Gov Bello

Kogi State Governor, Alh Yahaya Bello says the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken over Kogi state, and ended the existence of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
Gov Bello declared this when he received decampees from the PDP at the APC Mega rally held on Saturday at the state capital, Lokoja.
According to him, the major pillars of the PDP have all decamped from the party to the APC.
“This is a confirmation that APC is grounded in Kogi State,” he said.
He extolled the strides of President Muhammadu Buhari which he said, endeared other party
stalwarts to pich their tent with the progressives.
On his part, the National Chairman of the APC, John Odigie Oyegun commended the efforts of the Governor,  describing him as a strategist at the critical party activities.
The rally marked the official welcoming of former PDP Chieftain in the state, Alh Yahaya Karaku and his loyalists.
